Traceability Data and VeroTrace
At any point during a project and especially at the end of a project, VeroTrace gathers all the traceability relationships established in its database and combines this with the baselined artifacts from your CM system to auto-generate a self-contained website. The strength and advantage of this tool output lies in the traceability relationships it establishes between requirements and artifacts in the form of multi-directional hyperlinks connecting baselined items.
From one requirement, you can link to:
- its review checklist
- a corresponding source file and its review checklist
- traceability to all associated design files and their review checklists
- traceability to all associated tests and results and their review checklists
- traceability to all associated coverage analyses and their review checklists
And from many of these traceability locations, you can trace back to the corresponding requirement or onto other related traceability.
For large projects, this can result in tens of thousands of files and hundreds of thousands of hyperlinks that are being tracked and linked by VeroTrace!
