Impact Analysis with VeroTrace
With a project-configurable setting, VeroTrace can provide detailed impact analysis when a baselined artifact must be changed.
So many times, when a last minute customer requirement changes, there is a mad scramble to determine what impact that change will have on the requirements and artifacts that have already been completed, baselined, and frozen. VeroTrace can provide a display of requirements and artifacts up and down the traceability line that could potentially be impacted by a requirement and/or artifact change anywhere in the project. The user can then select which requirements and artifacts to invalidate for update and/or re-review. (Note: The life cycles of baselined requirements and artifacts are frozen in VeroTrace and can only be changed when in the Incomplete (or Failed) state.
